Coming from Stuttgart on the A81
Leave the autobahn at exit 34-Rottweil in the direction of Rottweil/Zimmern and drive via Königsfeld and St. Georgen to Triberg.
Coming from Basel on the A5
Leave the autobahn at exit 61-Freiburg-Nord in the direction of Freiburg-Nord/Waldkirch and drive on to the B294.  On the B 294 turn right towards Elzach.  From there you drive via Oberprechtal to Schonach and to Triberg.
By train:
